For a change models did not have to worry about the time consuming hair and makeup prep and did not even have to bother with wardrobe. Hand models got their nails done by Element nail specialist, Val. Models heald grapes, cheese, and a wine glass for a print ad, for The Sunday Paper. The advertisement is for an Aids benefit event Uncork a Cure benefiting the AIDS Research Consortium of Atlanta (ARCA). It was interesting to see the models hand model, as most of them were also conscious of their body and facial expression, posing but yet the photographer was only taking images of the hands. Here you see behind the scenes shots, one of the many final ads, and Andrew making a silly face while everyone piles their hands onto the wine bottle.

Element Models attending what seemed like an America's Next Top Model casting call for Bravo's TV Show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Fashion Show. The models line wrapped inside and outside the building.  After a long wait in line the models were narrowed down to the top 20 or so. Those models were then asked to attend a model call back dressed all alike with skinny jeans, black heels, and a white tank top for a final assessment before facing elimination. Fortunately, Element Models were not eliminated and proceeded to a couple rehearsas and a fitting to be in Bravo TV's Real Housewives of Atlanta Closet Freak line fashion show , by housewife Lisa Wu Hartwell. Hartwell is a busy career oriented woman who owns a real estate firm, a jewelry line, and a women's and childrens clothing line.

Playground photo shoot
ImageImageImageImage
Photographer Bobby came across Element Models and selected several models off of the Element website for a Go See. At the Go see models Savannah and Madlin were selected for an editorial shoot. Models feedback:
Model Savannah  loved the location because of its futuristic and funky feel with the unique playground equipment, reminiscent of The Jetson's.  The models and crew enjoyed some great peanut butter & jelly sandwiches hand-crafted by the photographer to keep everyone in a playful, youthful mood. Model Madlin remembers the long shoot from 10am-6pm, and the difficulty shooting with the changing weather  on the playground. At first she thought the playground seemed like a great place to shoot, then the rain complicated things. The rain came and went, but when the rain stopped and the sun came out, the kids of course came out and started playing on the playground. This made it challenging to not get the kids into the background of shots. Madlin,at first, was distracted with lots of people on set- with the photographer, assistants, and hair, makeup, wardrobe stylists, and the models, but she soon relaxed with all their positive energy. The models and talent also had to carpool to the photographers nearby home for bathroom breaks since there were no facilities on site.  Aside from the many eccentricities of the day, it was great fun and allowed for some lovely shots!
